Road Plate Options
Shot blasted prior to applying a resin coating and Chinese bauxite. Our quality assured process ensures the longevity of the surface dressing.
To ensure affordability and mitigate the risk of surface damage to our Grade 1 plates, our Anti -skid plate is supplied in two formats.
Grade 1 – Firsts: Anti-Skid Coating Type 1 BBA Approved High Friction Surface for Carriageway and quality assured usage.
Grade 2 – Seconds : Anti-Skid Coating Type 1 BBA Approved High Friction Surface ; Non Type 1 BBA quality assured usage. These plates provide an enhanced slip resistant surface over and above a plain plate however supplied as a Second Quality with surface ware and damage to the surface dressing due to historic usage. ( These plates must not be used in quality assured performance specification zones as the uniformity of the surface dressing cannot be guaranteed )
Plain steel : non-coated, inclusive of lifting eyes.
Plain steel or part coated, inclusive of lifting locations with surface alignment imperfections. 
All plates are available in either 22mm or 25 mm thickness. Standard sizes are both 2.4 M x 1.2 M
Nonstandard purpose made plate sizes are available.
